Our Kindergarten Central Registration for 2022 will be opening soon.
We are reviewing our Priority of Access for allocating kindergarten places for 2022.
There were three options for you to choose from in the table below.
Below is an explanation:
- The
first priority for all options includes the Department of Education
and Training compulsory priority for children experiencing vulnerabilities.
- In Option A (in the table) children
with siblings who are currently in the kindergarten (or attended the
kindergarten in the last four years) will be given 2nd priority after
the Department of Education and Training compulsory priority
- Next, Option B, children will be
considered based on their local kindergarten.
- And lastly Option C, children of all other Mornington Peninsula Shire residents/ratepayers who have applied will be allocated.
Option A | Option B | Option C | |

Please note we asked for feedback on the Kindergarten Central Registration allocation of kindergarten places.
These come after places allocated under the Department of Education and Training’s Priority of Access policy.
The feedback will be collated and presented to Council for a decision prior to the opening of registrations for 2022.
