Each year our nation celebrates the achievement and contribution of local community members through the Australian of the Year Awards. They inspire us through their achievements and challenge us to make our own contribution to creating a better Mornington Peninsula.

To celebrate Australia day 2021, we’re broadcasting an Australia Day playlist (Peninsula-style) live.

Join us for the special live Australia Day RPP FM broadcast from Main Street, Mornington on Tuesday 26 January 2021 between 1pm – 3pm.

The broadcast will also feature a selection of local performers playing acoustically.

This Australia Day we will be celebrating a little differently as we have a COVID-Safe Summer.

Some of the traditional 2021 Australia Day events will not be held this year.

However, in townships across the Peninsula, some community events will still take place to commemorate the day.
