Help shape the Domestic Animal Management Plan for the Peninsula
Pet ownership has many benefits for health and wellbeing. The welfare of pets and protection of the community and the environment from nuisance dogs and cats are also important.
The Shire is developing a new Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP). This is a document all Victorian Councils must produce every four years. The Plan will outline the Shire’s approach to our animal management (dogs and cats) for the next four years.
Your input will help us balance the needs of pet owners with the needs of the rest of our community. To have your say you can:
- Take the survey.
- Use the map to let us know about dog and cat ideas or concerns.
- Make a detailed submission.
We encourage all community members (whether you own a pet or not) to provide input and help us understand what’s important to you so we can reflect that in the draft plan.
