Draft David MacFarlan Reserve Master Plan

Consultation has concluded

We have updated the Master Plan for David MacFarlan Reserve, outlining a 20 year vision for the reserve. The plan reflects the principles and standards in our Sports Capacity Plan and has been prepared in collaboration with the reserve’s many user groups.

Locals and visitors can look forward to many upgrades around the reserve, including:

  • new competition netball courts
  • new cricket nets
  • new multi-use courts
  • new playground
  • Improved facilities around the skate park including increased street skate area, shelter, BBQs and lighting
  • revitalising the wetlands and building a new boardwalk
  • improved paths within the reserve connecting the oval, wetlands, play space and Community Centre
  • better access for vehicles with a new sport precinct entry and sealed car parks.

Feedback from the community is an important part of the planning and design process – we encourage you to take part and submit your comments on the draft plan.
