The Narambi Reserve Master Plan will provide much needed new sporting infrastructure in Mornington.

This project is part of a long-term development that will benefit local sports clubs as well as the local community.

We were successful with an application to Sport and Recreation Victoria's Local Sports Infrastructure Fund - Female Friendly Facilities Fund for this project. As a result, we received $490,704 from the State Government with the Shire providing the remaining $2.3 million.

The first stage of the Narambi Reserve Master Plan will begin in December 2021 and will provide:

  • a new AFL and cricket oval
  • hard court playground with players shelters
  • coaches boxes
  • scoreboards
  • new fencing, lighting, paths and parking.

The new oval and facilities will help the clubs at the reserve continue to grow their participation especially in female membership for AFL and cricket.
