We've written a Universal Design Policy to ensure we deliver inclusive and equitable spaces and services for everyone in our community.
Universal Design is making products, environments, programs, and services equally accessible and usable for everyone.
Universal design features can include:
- Wide, even footpaths
- Step-free entrances
- Larger bathrooms
- More seating and rest areas
- Accessible playground equipment
- Clear signage with pictures and symbols
- Gender-neutral toilets
- Information in a range of formats
- Places and services where everyone feels welcome
