We’re planning a new shared path to make it safer and easier for locals to walk, ride or roll, and we’d love your input.

There are two potential routes, and now’s your chance to help us choose the one that best fits your neighbourhood.

Whether you're commuting, heading to the shops or out for a stroll this path is designed for you.

We’re also asking the community what kind of finished surface you’d prefer. Crushed rock offers a more natural look and lower upfront cost, while concrete provides greater durability and accessibility.

Your feedback will help shape a path that works best for everyone and make it even easier to enjoy everything our beautiful area has to offer.

What are the two route options?

  • Option 1: Boundary Road Route

Runs down Boundary Road, continuing along White Hill Road and then onto Old White Hill Road toward the school.

    • Requires more vegetation removal (approx. 1.198 hectares)
    • Services fewer residents
    • Needs one pedestrian crossing
  • Option 2: Nepean Highway Route

Travels via Rainier Avenue, through the Dromana Industrial Estate, then along Nepean Highway, reconnecting to White Hill Road.

    • Requires less vegetation removal (approx. 0.448 hectares)
    • Services both Dromana and Safety Beach
    • Needs two pedestrian crossings
    • Could link into the Priority Pedestrian Network in future
