The Shire manages more than 1,700km of local roads, including both sealed and unsealed surfaces.
The draft Road Management Plan outlines how Council manages and maintains these local roads, footpaths, and related infrastructure. It sets minimum service standards for inspections, immediate works and permanent repairs to ensure roads remain accessible and reliable for everyone in the community.
We asked you about what matters most in the Plan, any changes you’d like to see, and how you think Council should prioritise maintenance activities. Your feedback helps us provide safe, well-maintained roads for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
