The Mornington Peninsula Shire manages a property portfolio that supports the delivery of a range of community and commercial services through over 265 lease and license agreements.
In late 2024, the Mornington Peninsula Shire developed the draft Lease and Licence Policy to ensure a consistent, equitable and transparent lease and licence process which complies with best practice and legislative requirements.
In early 2025 we sought feedback from our current tenants and the community. We listened to the feedback received and have made changes to the Policy to make it more streamlined and easier to understand.
To ensure we’ve got it right, we’re inviting our current tenants to share their thoughts on the draft.
