Properly managing these systems is essential to prevent pollution, protect groundwater and surface water, and safeguard public health.

The Onsite Wastewater Management Plan 2024 – 2029 sets out a framework to ensure wastewater is treated safely and effectively across the Shire. This Plan outlines key actions to minimise environmental and health risks while supporting sustainable wastewater management.
